About this role

Rubicon Health Solutions (Fulfilment Centre Regina), part of Neighbourly Pharmacy, seeks a full-time Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant in Regina, Saskatchewan. Report to the Central Fill Manager and work under the supervision of a pharmacist. Perform dispensing functions in compliance with provincial regulations and company standards.

Assemble prescription medications, count, label, and compound prescriptions daily. Prepare compliance packaging for LTC homes and operate automated packaging equipment. Manage inventory, ordering, processing, and receiving materials to ensure production efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain a clean, neat, and professional workplace while conducting quality checks on packaging before delivery. Identify production issues and propose continuous improvement methods. Operate machinery aligned with the computer system to meet production objectives.

Schedule includes 40 hours per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Saturdays, Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No shifts on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Enjoy paid vacation, comprehensive health and dental benefits, store discount, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or production facility, including Pharmacy Assistant and Kroll experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professional image, grooming, and positive attitude with effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude and image while meeting role requirements
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check required due to the sensitive nature of the position

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Central Fill Manager and work under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Perform dispensing functions including assembling prescription medications, counting, labelling, and compounding prescriptions
  • Prepare compliance packaging for LTC homes and operate automated packaging equipment
  • Manage inventory, ordering, processing, and receiving materials to ensure production efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional workplace and check packaging before delivery
  • Conduct quality checks, identify production issues, and propose continuous improvement methods
  • Ensure timely and accurate production processes, prepare production reports, and requisition supplies as needed
  • Operate machinery aligned with the computer system and perform miscellaneous tasks to support operations
