About this role
The Assistant Store Manager will oversee, train, and develop a team that consistently provides superior guest experience, while meeting sales goals. Reporting to the Store Manager, this onsite role is available part or full-time. Leadership focuses on exceptional service and operational success.
Manage day-to-day store operations, including building, training, and developing a team for consistent superior guest experience. Create an organized and process-oriented environment. Emphasize execution and a systems culture to drive efficiency.
Foster a culture where the primary focus is always on guests’ needs. Serve as a role model with high energy and friendly attitude to team members and guests. Communicate company objectives so the store team understands strategy in day-to-day operations.
Clearly set expectations with employees and track results. Assist with monitoring financials, sales, forecasting, and analysis of trends in payroll, loss prevention, and expenses. Optimize results through efficient spending and thorough planning to maximize profitability.
Requirements
- Must have a people first mentality; every team member and guest deserves a great experience
- Skillful communicator with ability to communicate complex issues in an easily understood manner
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and effectively deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with energy, drive and a focus on execution
- Good business acumen
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR
