Allcare Management Services specialises in supporting Community Pharmacies to deliver excellent personalised care. This allows pharmacists to focus on core skills of providing expert medical care, advice and value to patients. Join as Retail Manager to lead the front of counter retail business and sales team.
Lead the team to deliver best in class retail standards in front of counter operations. Manage category management, merchandising, stock control, and rotation using designated suppliers. Follow standard operating procedures to meet sales targets as budgeted.
Ensure proper cash handling, processing, and control including safes and lodgements per Company Cash Policy. Execute Department of Health Schemes like DPS, LTI, GMS with accurate monthly submissions and reconciliations. Maintain security of stock, property, and safety of staff and customers.
Lead by example, coaching staff for professional customer service. Foster a culture of innovation, flexibility, customer centric thinking from Allcare policies. Monitor public perception and advise on retail business improvements for profitability.
Requirements
- Experience leading retail sales teams in community pharmacy settings
- Knowledge of pharmacy retail standards, merchandising and category management
- Familiarity with Irish pharmacy cash handling and control procedures
- Understanding of Department of Health schemes including DPS, LTI, GMS
- Proficiency in stock control, rotation and supplier management in pharmacy
- Ability to implement SOPs and execute product promotions
- Commitment to health and safety regulations in pharmacy environment
- Skills in monitoring retail performance and advising on business improvements
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Pharmacy is maintained in line with Company Standards and sales staff are clear on duties
- Maintain excellent retail standards including Category Management, Merchandising, Stock Control and SOPs
- Manage cash handling, processing and control per Company Cash Policy including bank lodgements
- Execute Department of Health Schemes such as DPS, LTI, GMS with proper monthly submissions
- Execute product promotions and implement Allcare policies and procedures
- Ensure security of stock, property, keys and safety of staff and customers
- Lead by example, coaching staff to deliver professional customer service
- Monitor budgets, public perception and advise on pharmacy retail business issues
