Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community. Keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. Assist with technical functions of dispensing prescriptions and participate in pharmacy maintenance and operations per Standards of Practice.

Provide superior, timely, and pleasant service to customers through greeting promptly and gathering prescription information. Perform duties according to Role Assignment Schedule and refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist. Set realistic wait time expectations and ensure counseling referrals.

Handle administration tasks like receiving new and repeat prescription orders per Standard Operating Procedures. Adjudicate third-party billing, manage faxes, and assist in coordinating call backs. Accurately file documentation and maintain cash register in the dispensary.

Support prescription workflow by entering data for new prescriptions and refills, selecting medications, and efficiently counting, measuring, packaging, and labeling. Requirements

High School Diploma
Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred
Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred
Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask
Problem Solving Skills
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards
