About this role
The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist joins the central services team at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute to deliver best-in-class pharmaceutical support. This hybrid role requires travel to Florida clinics and targets candidates residing in Naples or North Florida areas like Jacksonville or Gainesville. Focus ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy for oncology patients.
Under the Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services, collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to provide quality patient care. Coordinate drug therapy processes including drug selection using genetic/biomarker testing, dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management. Support development of new regimen builds and handle related inquiries.

Requirements
- Reside in Florida areas including Naples, Jacksonville, or Gainesville
- Ability to travel to Florida clinics as part of hybrid role
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from accredited program
- Current pharmacist licensure in Florida
- Oncology pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Hematology/Oncology therapeutics and biomarkers
- Proficiency in protocol management and drug utilization review
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide timely consultation services for clinical oncology pharmacy support
- Deliver therapeutic medication monitoring for Hematology/Oncology patients
- Manage protocol compliance and performance improvement initiatives
- Coordinate drug selection incorporating genetic/biomarker testing
- Handle drug information, dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management
- Conduct retrospective drug utilization monitoring
- Support development of new regimen builds
- Respond to medication therapy inquiries from clinical staff
