Greet customers promptly, gather prescription information according to Standards, and set realistic expectations for wait times. Assist in prescription preparation, data entry for new prescriptions, refill processing, selecting medications, counting, measuring, packaging, and labeling. Handle administration including receiving orders, third-party billing, faxes, and filing documentation.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred
- Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards
- Refer all clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
- Assist in prescription preparation to company's standards and professional services
- Perform data entry for new prescriptions and manage refill request processing
- Select medications to fill prescriptions according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice
- Count or measure, package, and label prescriptions per Pharmacy Standards
- Adjudicate third party billing and manage manual Third-Party Accounts
- Maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary
