As a Pharmacist Grade 1, gain invaluable experience in a nurturing, collaborative environment alongside experienced professionals. Rotate through clinical wards, sterile and cytotoxic manufacturing, and inpatient dispensing. Play a critical role in medication management as an essential member of clinical teams.
Provide pharmaceutical services to patients and clinicians, ensuring compliance with legislative and professional requirements. Offer dispensing and medication counselling to patients, and pharmaceutical information to health professionals. Ensure medications are stored safely and appropriately.
Flexibility required to work over 5 days Monday to Friday with some on-call, weekend and evening work on a rostered basis. Join teams united by the shared purpose of exceptional, patient-centred care. Advocate Quality Use of Medications across the continuum of care.

Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy (desirable)
- Well-developed computer skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and work well within a team
- Sound prioritising and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to conflicting demands
- High level of motivation and enthusiasm to learn
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical service to patients and clinicians, ensuring prescribing and dispensing compliance with legislative and professional requirements
- Provide dispensing and medication counselling service to patients
- Provide pharmaceutical information to health professionals
- Ensure medications are stored safely and appropriately
- Rotate through clinical wards, sterile and cytotoxic manufacturing, and inpatient dispensing
- Participate in medication management as part of clinical teams
- Support Quality Use of Medications across the continuum of care
