The Consultative Pharmacy Technician serves as a central resource for medication-related support for patients, pharmacies, and providers. This certified role performs varied activities and moderately complex clinical/operational/customer support assignments. It supports medication adherence, reconciliation, and patient outreach while performing analysis and follow-up on semi-routine assignments.
Daily tasks include supporting medication-related activities such as refill management, medication adherence, and medication reconciliation. The role assists with medication coordination, research, and issue resolution, triaging requests that require pharmacist involvement. It conducts patient outreach to address medication gaps and supports scheduling for pharmacist consultations.
Work applies established guidelines and departmental policies to complete assignments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards within defined workflows. The position operates in a hybrid environment requiring commute distance to Orlando, Florida. Local travel may be required with mileage reimbursed.

Requirements
- Candidates need to reside in a commute distance to Orlando, Florida for this HYBRID position
- Active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in the state of Florida
- Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously and strong data entry skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
