About this role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Permanent Internal Locum Pharmacist with excellent professional service skills to join our team on a full or part-time basis. This is the perfect role for a registered pharmacist looking to broaden their experience within a structured environment supported by our National Support Office. You will support teams across diverse locations.

The ideal candidate will travel and work as a permanent full or part-time relieving Pharmacist across our stores with structured weekly plans. Be adaptable and flexible to work in a variety of stores, competently dispensing prescriptions. Passionately engage with patients, provide basic staff direction, and resolve day-to-day business critical issues.

This position is based in South Australia with travel opportunities in Regional SA and optional travel in QLD and NSW. Work closely with our Professional Services team and support Pharmacy teams to deliver great service. Be at the forefront of best practice as a positive individual contributing to Star Pharmacy Group success.

Requirements

Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Current police clearance or willing to obtain one
Solid experience working as a Pharmacist in a community pharmacy
Proven experience with 7CPA professional pharmacy practice programs
Experience with Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and compliance with pharmacy regulations
Adaptable and flexible to work in a variety of stores
Ability to demonstrate leadership and initiative
Technical competence supported by resilience and flexibility

Responsibilities

Support teams across diverse locations with structured weekly plans
Travel and work as a relieving Pharmacist across stores in Regional SA and optional QLD/NSW
Dispense prescriptions competently in a variety of stores
Engage passionately with patients
Provide basic staff direction
Resolve day-to-day business critical issues
Support Pharmacy teams to deliver great service
Contribute to best practice in professional services
