About this role
The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist serves as a member of the central services team, delivering best-in-class pharmaceutical support to clinical staff organization-wide. Responsibilities include therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, medication information, education, and performance improvement for safe, effective, cost-efficient therapy. This hybrid position requires travel to Florida clinics.
Under the Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services, the pharmacist collaborates with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to provide quality patient care. Coordinates drug therapy processes such as drug selection using genetic/biomarker testing, dosing, monitoring, outcomes management, and retrospective drug utilization review. Supports development of new regimen builds and handles related inquiries.

Requirements
- PharmD degree from accredited college of pharmacy
- Active Florida pharmacist licensure
- Oncology pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred
- Knowledge of chemotherapy agents, biologics, and supportive care therapies
- Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and investigational drugs
- Proficiency in medication safety and adverse event management in oncology
Responsibilities
- Provide timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other organization members
- Deliver up-to-date drug information on new approved therapies in the oncology space and biologic therapies
- Apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical knowledge
- Ensure delivery of therapeutic medication monitoring and protocol management
- Coordinate drug therapy including drug selection with genetic/biomarker testing, dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management
- Provide support for development of new regimen builds and inquiries
- Work collaboratively with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
